How to transfer a call on your handset
Within the phone system, there are two ways you are able to transfer a call. Option 1 is to Blind Transfer. This means when you are transferring you will not speak to the person you are transferring the call to. Option 2 is to Send the transfer. This means you have the ability to speak to the person you are transferring the call to, advising them who is on the phone before you complete the transfer.
To transfer a call using your handset, follow these steps:
Answer the incoming call
Press either of the transfer buttons (located on the screen or located on the right of the keypad)
Dial the extension number of the person you would like to transfer the call to.
Option 1: Blind Transfer
Press the btransfer button
Hang up your handset
Option 2: Send Transfer
Press the send button
Dial the extension number of the person you would like to transfer the call to.
Talk to the person to let them know the call you are transferring them through
Then press the transfer button
Hang up your handset
